</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Buah naga (Inggris: pitaya) adalah buah dari beberapa jenis kaktus dari marga Hylocereus dan Selenicereus. Buah ini berasal dari Meksiko, Amerika Tengah dan Amerika Selatan namun sekarang juga dibudidayakan di negara-negara Asia seperti Taiwan, Vietnam, Filipina, Indonesia dan Malaysia. Buah ini juga dapat ditemui di Okinawa, Israel, Australia utara dan Tiongkok selatan. Hylocereus hanya mekar pada malam hari.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Pada tahun 1870 tanaman ini dibawa orang Perancis dari Guyana ke Vietnam sebagai tanaman hias. Oleh orang Vietnam dan orang Cina buahnya dianggap membawa berkah. Oleh sebab itu, buah ini selalu diletakkan di antara dua ekor patung naga berwarna hijau di atas meja altar. Warna merah buah terlihat mencolok di antara warna naga-naga yang hijau. Dari kebiasaan inilah buah itu di kalangan orang Vietnam yang sangat terpengaruh budaya Cina dikenal sebagai thang loy (buah naga). Akar buah naga hanyalah akar serabut yang berkembang dalam tanah pada batang atas sebagai akar gantung. Akar tumbuh di sepanjang batang pada bagian punggung sirip di sudut batang. Pada bagian duri, akan tumbuh bunga yang bentuknya mirip bunga Wijayakusuma. Bunga yang tidak rontok berkembang menjadi buah. Buah naga bentuknya bulat agak lonjong seukuran dengan buah alpukat. Kulit buahnya berwarna merah menyala untuk jenis buah naga putih dan merah, berwarna merah gelap untuk buah naga hitam, dan berwarna kuning untuk buah naga kuning. Di sekujur kulit dipenuhi dengan jumbai-jumbai yang dianalogikan dengan sisik naga. Oleh sebab itu, buah ini disebut buah naga.</span></div><div style="line-height: 19px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: sans-serif;">Batangnya berbentuk segitiga, durinya sangat pendek dan tidak mencolok, sehingga sering dianggap "kaktus tak berduri". Bunganya mekar pada awal senja jika kuncup bunga sudah berukuran sekitar 30 cm. Mahkota bunga bagian luar yang berwarna krem, mekar sekitar pukul sembilan malam, lalu disusul mahkota bagian dalam yang putih bersih, meliputi sejumlah benang sari yang berwarna kuning. Bunga seperti corong itu akhirnya terbuka penuh pada tengah malam, karena itu buah naga dikenal sebagai night blooming cereus. Saat mekar penuh, buah naga menyebar bau yang harum. Belum ada penelitian tentang manfaat buah ini, namun karena asalnya dari jenis buah kaktus dipercaya buah naga mengandung vitamin C, beta karoten, kalsium, dan karbohidrat. Tanaman akan tumbuh subur jika media tanam porous (tidak becek), kaya akan unsur hara, berpasir, cukup sinar matahari dan bersuhu antara 38-40° C. Jika perawatan cukup baik, tanaman akan mulai berbuah pada umur 11-17 bulan. Kota Malang berada 400-700 dpl, sangat cocok untuk budidaya buah naga merah. Walaupun memiliki udara yang cukup sejuk, namun mendapatkan sinar matahari yang cukup merupakan syarat pertumbuhan buah naga merah. Buah naga dapat berkembang dengan kondisi tanah dan ketinggian lokasi apapun, namun tumbuhan ini cukup rakus akan unsur hara, sehingga apabila tanah mengandung pupuk yang bagus, maka pertumbuhannya akan baik. Dalam waktu 1 tahun, pohon buah naga dapat mencapai ketinggian 3 meter lebih. Berdasarkan beberapa sumber, buah naga belum banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia. whether a vehicle is a lemon or not one should study certain conditions 
of the vehicle before pursuing a lemon law suit. A vehicle should 
exhibit some serious defect or some abnormal condition. Number of 
attempts for repair should also be taken into account before preparing a
 lemon law suit. A written notice should also be issued to the 
manufacturer prior to a lemon law suit. <br /> <br /> A vehicle that has 
been bought back by the manufacturer from the customer is known as a 
Lemon Buy Back. They are then often sold in auctions as used cars by the
 manufacturers. <br /> <br /> The Lemon law enforced for protecting 
consumers from the lemon vehicles is Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. This 
lemon law states that any advertised guarantee should explicitly state 
relevant information about a warranty. This law ensures that any 
warranty for goods above $15 should be clearly expressed on the goods 
and should be clear and easy to understand. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty 
act enables a consumer to bring suit to any manufacturer, supplier, 
warrantor, or service contractor for any defective piece of good or 
services.</div>

Buah ini dapat dimakan langsung dalam keadaan segar setelah diolesi dengan air kapur dan diperam, agar rasa sepatnya hilang. Buah juga dapat dikeringkan atau diolah menjadi selai, agar-agar, es krim dan lain-lain. Buah kesemek segar mengandung 19,6%karbohidrat, terutama fruktosa dan glukosa, 0,7% protein, vitamin A dan kalium.</div><div style="margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em; text-align: justify;">Buah kesemek yang muda mengandung zat tanin yang dinamai <i>tanin-kaki</i>, yang menimbulkan rasa sepat pada buah. Zat ini akan berkurang bersama dengan masaknya buah. Tanin-kaki dimanfaatkan untuk mengawetkan berbagai kerajinan tangan, membantu produksi arak-beras di Jepang, serta bahan pengobatan penyakit hipertensi.</div><br />
